My Story
My roots are humble, from a working class background, my journey into the film industry started from scratch, starting with me messing around with a broken second hand miniDV camera, making stop motion films with my cousin. To venture into Camera assisting, working on low budget indie features, which lead me to work on bigger & bigger productions. During that time I earned my stripes and learned a lot about what it is to be on set and hone my skills as a Director and Cinematographer.
Since then I have built an award winning portfolio with films “”, “” & “”.
As someone of an Anglo/Indian heritage, I am drawn to stories that explore identity, social structures and self discovery. As someone who appreciates how powerful the medium of film can be, I know how to connect audiences to stories they might not be familiar with, empower change and give a voice to those who might be without one.
