Shot during the height of the pandemic, this regional commercial was created in partnership with Ranch Creative and Essex County Council to raise awareness across the county about how the community could come together to navigate the COVID-19 crisis.

As the cinematographer, I aimed for a visual style that was bright, vibrant, and accessible. Designed to engage a wide audience across regional television. We wanted the tone to feel reassuring, encouraging people to take action while also giving them a sense of unity and optimism.

Visually, I leaned into clean, high-key lighting and natural colour palettes that reflected community spirit and everyday resilience. The camera work was designed to feel authentic, following real people in real settings, from shopkeepers, to Royal mail staff, to families and small business owners.

The campaign centred around the message of unity during those dark times. It was an honour to contribute to something that not only informed, but also empowered the local community during such a critical time.
