This campaign film was created in collaboration with Khady’s Dream, a community interest company committed to reducing crime by building a strong ecosystem of support services for young people at risk of offending.

Directed by Alex Buhai, the film tells the powerful origin story of the organisation. Charting its evolution from a personal mission into a growing movement creating real, lasting impact. As the cinematographer, my goal was to visually reflect the heart and authenticity of Khady’s Dream. I used naturalistic lighting combined with a subtle sense of drama and intimate camera work to craft a visual language that supported, rather than overshadowed, the emotional core of the story.

It was a privilege to contribute to a project with such purpose. The film not only raises awareness of the issues young people face but also celebrates the transformative power of community, care, and opportunity.
